THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOTEL
Albergo Miramonti was a vision once imagined by our late grandfather Martino Marco - and was then - made into reality.
The ancestors of the Moraschinelli family lived humble lives without much wealth, but with the entrepreneurship and the innovation of our late grandfather; the hotel subsequently blossomed into success. In 1958, after Martino Marco managed to secure land and funds, he immediately started to construct the magnificent hotel that continues to stand tall in the Italian Alps today. The finished building had state-of-the-art facilities such as hot water in every room, as well as stunning views of the Italian Alps. Soon after, the hotel grew in popularity, and countless tourists from the city travelled to the Corteno valley to relax for the summer and winter. The Moraschinelli family today continues to envision a bright future for the hotel, with exceptional development of the Hotel Spa and Cigar Lounge, as well as the recent reconstruction that has helped in win worldwide recognition for its design.
